Distribution Center Warehouser Job Summary
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
We are looking for someone who can safely and efficiently process merchandise, order pick, split distribution, receiving, loading and unloading, put away, and replenish while utilizing Best Practice Standards to meet all established processing standards. While also maintaining a safe, clean, neat, and orderly Distribution Center.
Responsibilities- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed safely, responsibly, and efficiently.
- Process daily, weekly, and special orders including order pick, cross-docking, and splitting out merchandise.
- Process warehouse replenishment orders including letdowns and bin fulfillment.
- Complete pre-loading and pre-unloading safety processes.
- Unload inbound freight safely and efficiently validating quantities and identifying and documenting any product damage.
- Complete merchandise pre-receiving and receiving processes within established timeline standards.
- Perform putaway of inbound merchandise validating SKU and quantities.
- Load Wilco trailers with outbound merchandise safely and efficiently, validating the number of pallets loaded on each trailer.
- Utilize WMS to perform pre-receipt, receiving, putaway, replenishment, order pick, split, and loading.
- Ensure merchandise is prepared correctly for retail sale including barcoding and tagging (SKU / UPC).
- Keep the Distribution Center and outside facility areas clean and orderly at all times.
- Utilize safe lifting practices and team lifts as required.
- Participate in warehouse cycle count activities.
- Along with other duties, responsibilities, and/or tasks as assigned.
- Knowledge of computer systems operations and associated software.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers and co‑workers.
- Skill to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations.
- Skill at product recognition, and attention to detail.
- High school graduate or equivalent desired.
- 3 months of forklift experience preferred.
- 6 months of warehouse experience preferred.
