Overview
The position:
Do you have a strong interest in accounting, the ability to handle multiple tasks and details simultaneously, and exceptional customer service skills? As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will hold a critical position in the company by making sure we are staying up to date on all of our bills! In this position you will do things like:
- Work in office 40 hours per week
- Review and verify all invoices for appropriate approval
- Scan and enter invoices into accounting system
- Review vendor statements and work with vendors to research and correct differences
- Mail checks to vendors
- Other assigned duties
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk needs to have:
- A strong interest in accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and other computer skills
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Data entry skills
- Accounts Payable Clerk
- Accounts Payable Lead Clerk
- Accounts Payable Supervisor
- Accounts Payable Manager
