Summary

The Financial Operations Specialist computes, classifies, records, and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records and payment processing. They support accounting functions and other duties as assigned.

• Manage and perform payroll function, as assigned.
• Manage and perform payable function, as assigned.
• Lead and perform accounts receivable function, as assigned.
• Maintain and update financial records.
• Review and approve payments.
• Prepare detailed reports of transactions.

• Education Requirements – Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree in business, office technology, accounting or a closely related field and two years of experience related to the summary of duties; OR any combination of education and experience totaling four years.
• Technical Skills – General knowledge of accounting principles. Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel.
• Communication & Customer Service – Exceptional written and oral communication and customer service skills.
