Student- Illustration - e2i

The e2i program is seeking a creative, skilled Illustration Artist to join our team.

This role offers hands-on experience working on real-world, industry-driven projects, with a focus on illustration, visual storytelling, and concept development. The artist will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create polished illustrations that support project goals and narratives.

* Create high-quality illustrations that support project needs, including characters, scenes, and visual assets.

* Develop character designs and illustrated assets, including poses, expressions, and visual variations, while maintaining consistency in style and quality.

* Illustrate backgrounds, settings, and scenes that enhance storytelling and align with project direction.

* Produce concept sketches and exploratory illustrations to help visualize ideas during project development.

* Work closely with writers, designers, and project leads to ensure illustrations align with creative and project goals.

* Incorporate feedback and refine illustrations as needed to meet project standards and deadlines.

* Must be a current UVU Student.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Currently studying Illustration, Art and Design, or a related field.

* Strong foundation in illustration, including character and environmental artwork.

* Proficiency with digital illustration tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, or similar software.

* Ability to generate original ideas and translate concepts into compelling visual work.

* Strong eye for composition, consistency, and visual quality.

* Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

* Strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines.

* Experience with visual storytelling or narrative illustration.

* Familiarity with style guides or adapting artwork to established visual directions.
