Student - Graphic Designer SCET Marketing Team

Utah Valley University is looking for a graphic designer to work with the Smith College of Engineering and Technology Marketing Team. This position is meant for the well-organized, creative problem-solver who works to deliver collateral for memorable and inspiring experiences for UVU students.

Specifically, this position will:

* Create graphically designed content for print and digital assets, including the UVU website.

* Be instrumental in creative projects for the department with the support of an in-house creative team.

* Develop visual communication standards and style guides for marketing materials across the Student Affairs division.

* Foster key relationships with vendors, executive-level staff, university marketing, university printing, and the mail room to oversee the production and distribution of marketing materials.

* Use marketing and design to solve objectives for the department.

* Assist in digital signage distribution and management.

* Create graphically designed content for print and digital assets, including the UVU website.

* Foster key relationships with vendors, executive-level staff, university marketing, university printing, and the mail room to oversee the production and distribution of marketing materials.

* Be instrumental in creative projects for the department with the support of an in-house creative team.

* Develop visual communication standards and style guides for marketing materials across the SCET College.

* Must be a current UVU student.

* Knowledge of graphic design and the creative process for both printed and on-line materials

* Knowledge of print and product materials and working with vendors.

* Highly organized with baseline project management skills.

* Strong interpersonal communication and decision-making skills.

* Skilled in a broad range of graphic design computer applications including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and XD.

* Ability to be flexible with creative design.

* Ability to manage challenging workload with multiple timelines.
