Position Announcement
Utah Valley University is looking for a graphic designer to work with the Smith College of Engineering and Technology Marketing Team. This position is meant for the well‑organized, creative problem‑solver who works to deliver collateral for memorable and inspiring experiences for UVU students.
Specifically, This Position Will- Create graphically designed content for print and digital assets, including the UVU website.
- Be instrumental in creative projects for the department with the support of an in‑house creative team.
- Develop visual communication standards and style guides for marketing materials across the Student Affairs division.
- Foster key relationships with vendors, executive‑level staff, university marketing, university printing, and the mail room to oversee the production and distribution of marketing materials.
- Use marketing and design to solve objectives for the department.
- Assist in digital signage distribution and management.
- Create graphically designed content for print and digital assets, including the UVU website.

- Must be a current UVU student.
- Knowledge of graphic design and the creative process for both printed and online materials.
- Knowledge of print and product materials and working with vendors.
- Highly organized with baseline project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication and decision‑making skills.
- Skilled in a broad range of graphic design computer applications including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and XD.
- Ability to be flexible with creative design.
- Ability to manage challenging workload with multiple timelines.
- Ability to organize and execute activities for current student.
