Enshrouded is a cooperative survival action RPG set in a vast, handcrafted fallen kingdom. Players explore, fight, build, and forge their legend — solo or with up to 16 friends. The game has reached over 5 million players worldwide and continues to grow with major updates and an upcoming console launch. Enshrouded is developed by Keen Games, an independent studio based in Germany.
THE ROLEWe’re looking for a freelance Game Capture Artist & Performance Creative Specialist to join our marketing team on an ongoing monthly retainer. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality ad creatives for our performance marketing campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google/You Tube, Tik Tok, Reddit, and X.
This is not a traditional graphic design role. You’ll spend significant time inside the game itself — composing, lighting, and capturing stunning screenshots and video footage — then turning those raw captures into polished ad assets that drive installs. Think of yourself as a virtual photographer and ad creative producer in one.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Capture high-quality in-game screenshots and video footage in Enshrouded, with strong compositional framing, intentional lighting, and cinematic camera work
- Produce static image ads: screenshots with branded text overlays, promotional banners, split/comparison images, and carousel assets — all following our brand guidelines
- Produce short-form video ads (6s, 15s, 30s) from captured gameplay footage, with text overlays, pacing, and music/sound editing
- Deliver assets in platform-specific formats and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5)
- Iterate quickly — we want to do a lot and need a few new creative variants per cycle
- Collaborate with our marketing team on messaging direction, A/B test variants, and creative refresh cycles
- Maintain brand consistency across all output, following our established brand guide (colors, typography, tone)
- A strong compositional eye — your captures should look like concept art, not just UI-hidden screenshots. You understand framing, depth of field, rule of thirds, and how light creates mood
- Proficiency in Photoshop (or equivalent) for compositing screenshots with text overlays, banners, gradients, and brand elements
- Video editing skills (DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, or equivalent) — cutting gameplay footage into tight, compelling ad clips with text overlays and pacing
- Experience capturing footage and screenshots in PC games — you know how to work with in-game photo modes, free cameras, ReShade, or similar tools
- Understanding of performance marketing creative — you know what makes someone stop scrolling. Bonus if you’ve produced ads for games before
- Ability to play and navigate Enshrouded independently to find and set up capture opportunities (varied biomes, building showcases, combat encounters, co-op moments)
- Reliable internet connection and a PC capable of running Enshrouded at high/ultra settings
- Experience with survival, RPG, or open-world games
- Familiarity with the virtual photography / game photography community
- Motion graphics skills (After Effects or similar) for animated text and UI elements
- Understanding of what works on Tik Tok vs Meta vs You Tube from a creative format perspective
- Ongoing freelance, monthly retainer basis
- Remote — any time zone, though some overlap with CET for communication is preferred
- You’ll receive a copy of the game, our brand guidelines, and a creative brief for each cycle
- We’ll start with a paid test task before committing to the retainer
Send us:
- Your portfolio — show us your best in-game captures and/or ad creative work. We care about composition and visual taste above all else
- A short note on which games you’ve captured in and what tools you use
- Your monthly rate expectation and approximate availability (hours per week)
