* New Vacancy
* We are looking for a sharp, creative Short-Form Content Writer who masters the art of the "scroll-stop". You’ll be scripting high-energy animated content for You Tube Shorts, Tik Tok, and Instagram Reels; platforms where you have seconds to win over a young audience.
Responsible for the big picture narrative, helping to define character backstories, world rules, and overarching storylines.
This role is for a writer who thinks in "hooks", breathes internet culture, and understands how to translate animated charm into viral retention. Whether it’s a 30-second gag or 3-minute mini-stories, you know how to make every frame count.
Job Responsibilities
- Design the narrative framework of the show.
- Write high-performing scripts (30s-3m) that balance fast-paced humor with age-appropriate storytelling for the 3-11 demographic.
- Craft compelling story setups that grab attention in seconds and leave the audience wanting to see the next episode.
- Translate complex character traits into bite-sized, 30-second to 3-minute scripts that balance viral "beats" with meaningful storytelling.
- Develop "micro-arcs" that can be told over a series of shorts, encouraging viewers to subscribe to follow the journey.
- Identify rising sounds, memes, and formats, and pivot them into our animated world before the trend cools off.
- Use audience engagement data to see which characters or story beats are resonating, then pivot the narrative to double down on what the fans love.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience writing for digital-first platforms (You Tube Shorts, Tik Tok, Reels).
- Proven track record of building characters and worlds (whether in TV, games, webcomics, or digital series).
- Ability to craft sharp, funny, and highly shareable moments that resonate with kids while also entertaining co-viewing audiences.
- The rare ability to tell a complete story or a satisfying character moment in under 60 seconds.
- Understanding how to scale story complexity, keeping it simple and physical for preschoolers, while adding wit and subtext for older kids (11s).
- An understanding of what resonates with kids today, from preschool curiosity to the "tween" humor of 11- year-olds.
- Experience creating Series Bibles or narrative guides.
- A strong sensibility forcomedy and humor is a major plus, especially writers who understand timing, visual gags, and how to land punchlines quickly in a short-form format.
- Ability to brainstorm dozens of story prompts and "what if" scenarios that align with the show’s core concept.
- Excellent communicator across creative, technical, and production teams.
- Highly collaborative, strategic and solution-oriented thinker.
Salary: $1,000–$2,500 per script.
