Location

Mt Carmel, Utah – Zion Mountain Ranch, 3 miles from the East Entrance of Zion National Park on a roaming bison preserve.

Job Summary

As a Guest Services Agent you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional customer service, handling reservations, and supporting front‑desk operations for the seasonal period from date of hire through November 1st.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet guests at arrival, manage the check‑in process, and ensure a smooth experience.
  • Handle check‑outs, process payments, and provide accurate billing information.
  • Manage reservations through the hotel management system, ensuring accuracy and availability.
  • Answer phone inquiries, assist with booking reservations, and provide information on rates, availability, and lodge amenities.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Offer local information, recommend activities, and assist guests in planning their stay.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and resolve guest issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless service and support lodge operations.
  • Maintain general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and keeping organized records.
  • Prepare daily reports and assist with cash handling, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
  • Preferred experience in a front‑desk or customer service role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
  • Computer proficiency and experience with hotel management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Calm, friendly demeanor and ability to remain composed while building relationships.
  • Physical ability to walk around the resort and perform duties as required.
  • Adaptability to changing work conditions and willingness to accept new responsibilities.
  • Team‑oriented mindset and respectful behavior toward coworkers and guests.
Other Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Understand and follow all ESQ procedures related to the job.
  • Maintain a “safety‑first” attitude and minimize environmental impact during work and on‑site living.
  • Project a professional, hospitable service environment at all times.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well‑groomed appearance.
