We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in residential design to support our design leadership team and help deliver high-quality custom homes. This role is ideal for someone who understands residential design workflows, is comfortable in Revit, enjoys coordinating moving parts, and takes pride in creating a smooth, professional client experience.
You will work directly under a Design Lead, supporting multiple active projects. While you will not be the primary project owner, you will be deeply involved in timelines, coordination, communication, and quality control, with increasing responsibility over time.
This role is intentionally designed as a long-term growth position, with a clear path into Junior Design Lead and eventually Design Lead for the right person.
What You’ll Do Project Management & Coordination- Support Design Leads in managing residential design projects from concept through documentation
- Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Help manage project-related emails, tasks, and internal coordination
- Assist with consultant coordination and information flow
- Ensure projects move forward efficiently and deadlines are met
- Work within Revit on active residential projects (intermediate proficiency required)
- Assist with layouts, elevations, and design refinements as needed
- Review drawings for consistency with company standards and best practices
- Help ensure designs are clear, coordinated, and ready for next‑phase decisions
- Participate in client meetings and communications as appropriate
- Help maintain a high‑touch, professional, and personable client experience
- Support Design Leads in preparing presentations and responding to client needs
- Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and leadership
- Be flexible in a small‑firm environment where team members support one another
- Step in to help where needed to keep projects and the firm moving forward
- 2–3 years of experience working on residential design projects
- Intermediate-Advanced proficiency in Revit
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Comfortable working with multiple projects at once
- Personable and client-facing when needed
- Rendering or visualization experience
- Experience working in a small or fast-moving design firm
- Exposure to high-end or custom residential work
