To support a venture capital fund, the part-time Orthopaedic Surgeon Advisor will provide clinical insight into musculoskeletal care, evaluate healthcare technologies, and advise portfolio companies remotely for approximately 2-3 hours per month.
Key responsibilities- Evaluate startups through the lens of orthopedic surgery, focusing on workflows, care pathways, and outcomes tracking
- Assess investment opportunities in digital health, orthopedic devices, and surgical technologies
- Advise on orthopedic workflows and integration within healthcare systems and regulatory frameworks
- MD or DO with Orthopedic Surgery training
- Active clinical practice preferred
- Strong understanding of orthopedic workflows and hospital operations
- Familiarity with medical devices and value-based care
- Interest in digital health and healthcare innovation
