Pediatrix invites BC/BE General Surgeons to join an expanding, dynamic surgical team in the heart of Utah's Salt Lake City Basin. This high-acuity practice involves providing surgery coverage at both Timpanogos Regional and Lone Peak Hospital out of a brand new office space. Clinicians will enjoy an excellent work-life balance featuring a shared call schedule of just 7.5 days per month and no in-house call within a 30-minute commute.

Practice Info

• Brand new office space
• Surgery coverage at both Tipanogos Regional and Lone Peak Hospital
• High acuity practice, Level III trauma center
• Collegial, private practice environment with 3 surgeons currently on staff
• Specialty expertise on staff in bariatric, head & neck, pediatrics, non-cardiac thoracic, and trauma

Responsibilities

• Provide primarily adult general surgery and trauma, with light pediatric coverage
• Perform laparoscopy and endoscopy procedures

Requirements

• BC/BE General Surgeon
• 3-5 years experience preferred
• Some pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Additional experience in ICU care is highly regarded
• Board certified in General Surgery
