Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated School-Based Psychologist to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year in Tooele, UT. The successful candidate will provide essential psychological services to students, staff, and families, contributing to academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth within the school community.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services
• Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet student needs
• Provide counseling and intervention services to address student social-emotional and behavioral challenges
• Offer consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success and well-being
• Participate actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings, offering insights on student progress and intervention strategies
• Maintain thorough and confidential records of assessment findings, progress notes, and interventions

Qualifications:

• Master s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Valid Utah State Board of Education license as a School Psychologist
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Utah
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a school-based setting
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological assessments
