Job DescriptionOur mission is simple:
We “seek to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion.” We do this by cultivating employee development programs and initiatives throughout the Headquarters Facilities Department of over 800 employees. We provide resources that empower our workforce. Our interns work in an uplifting atmosphere as they assist the employee development team in administrative and talent development tasks. In addition to all of this, we provide our interns with the opportunity to see how principles and practices learned in their educational institutions are applied in a real professional setting.
Our interns are a valuable part of our team and will contribute significantly to our work.

Compensation:
New Higher Wages $21/hr+ depending on experience and education
Monday:
Must be available to work in the office from 10:30 am – 3:30 pm
Tuesday – Friday:
Flexible hours must be available for one three‑hour block during the workday (between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
12 months, 20–28 hours per week, part‑time
LocationChurch Office Building, Downtown Salt Lake City, UT with the option to work remotely outside of required office hours
Responsibilities- New Hire Orientation and Onboarding:
Assist in designing and delivering onboarding materials that support a smooth transition for new employees - Development and Implementation of Employee Development Programs:
Contribute to the creation of training materials, including videos, podcasts, presentations, and interactive workshops that promote employee growth and engagement - Talent Development Initiatives:
Support initiatives focused on leadership development, career development, mentoring programs, and ongoing skill‑building opportunities - Collaboration Across Departments:
Partner with various teams and departments to drive organization‑wide development projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation - Employee Engagement and Feedback:
Help gather employee feedback through surveys and focus groups to assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement - Administrative Support:
Manage scheduling, email correspondence, meeting support, and preparation of presentations and reports to ensure smooth project execution - Event Coordination:
Assist in planning and coordinating employee development events such as workshops, seminars, and recognition programs - All other duties as assigned by management
- Self‑motivated individuals with the ability to manage multiple work assignments and are a current student or have graduated within the last 12 months
- Enjoy working in a highly collaborative team and are highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work autonomously
- Must be a worthy member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and hold a current Temple Recommend to apply
- Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation; they must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter
