of Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of Developmental Mathematics or Quantitative Reasoning courses.
- Plans, prepares, and follows an approved course of study with measurable objectives for each course taught.
- Prepares instructional materials, including course syllabi, exams, and instructional materials as necessary.
- Evaluates student learning utilizing accepted assessment strategies.
- Engages classes in a student‑oriented approach to instruction.
- Maintains and submits records of student accountability and performance.
- Provides an open, student‑centered, welcoming, and respectful classroom environment.
Graduated from an accredited university with a minimum of a B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field. Must have 18 credit hours of graduate‑level mathematics/statistics to teach MAT 1000 or above.
Preferred Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities- Knowledge of the principles and methodology of subject matter and course content.

- Ability to manage, motivate, and evaluate students.
- Ability to communicate (written and oral) with a wide variety of students, faculty, and others effectively.
