In this role, you will work closely with faculty to assist in a high-enrollment class, helping facilitate course activities, support students in understanding film concepts, and ensure a smooth and well-organized classroom experience.
This position allows you to gain hands‑on experience in film education while contributing to a collaborative learning environment. You will play an active role in enhancing student engagement, assisting with course delivery, and adapting to evolving course needs each semester. Responsibilities- Under instructor direction, evaluate and grade student assignments, accurately recording grades in Canvas.
- Provide support to students by clarifying course material and assisting with coursework as needed.
- Ensure students have timely access to course materials, including files and in‑class assignments, in coordination with instructors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of course and instructional needs.
- Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree in a related major or any combination of education and/or experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling four years is required.
- Completed THEA 1023 during undergraduate studies or related experience.
- Proficient in using Canvas, including managing THEA 1023 assignments, assessments, and grading processes.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Ability to demonstrate a reliable and consistently strong work ethic.
- Experience working on Canvas.
