The School of Education (SOE) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated student to serve as a Dean's Intern. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to student success initiatives, support leadership priorities, and gain hands-on experience in academic programs and engagement efforts.
Summary of Responsibilities- Assist the SOE Dean with special projects
- Support development and implementation of SOE service projects
- Participate in SOE student success events, including recruitment and retention
- Collaborate on developing and implementing student engagement events and activities
- Conduct basic research and collect and analyze data
- Currently enrolled in a UVU education major program
- Flexibility in work schedule and availability to work at least 10 hours per week
- Ability to maintain professional relationships
- Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, peers, and K-12 stakeholders
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Ability to engage in basic research on educational topics
