Adjunct Instructor - Music (Voice)

• Teach applied lessons in voice.
• Plan and follow an approved course of study with measurable objectives for each course taught.
• Prepare instructional materials and evaluate instruction and learning by means of written, oral, practical, and performance tests.
• Maintain a student-oriented approach to teaching.
• Participate in auditions, juries and master classes as needed.
• Submit student grades and all requested departmental materials in a timely manner.
• Attend required department and/or program meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree in the subject matter or a closely related area, or a combination of education and experience.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred.

• Knowledge of subject matter and course content of courses taught.
• Knowledge of best practices in instructional strategies and techniques.
• Knowledge of current trends in education.
• Effective interpersonal, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience with a variety of teaching methods and/or curricular perspectives.
• Demonstrated success in working with a broad population of students.
