Of Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality instruction in finance, economics, and related disciplines, fostering student engagement and academic success.
- Develop, prepare, and implement approved course curricula with clearly defined and measurable learning outcomes.
- Create and maintain instructional materials, including syllabi, course outlines, assessments, presentations, and other learning resources that support effective teaching and learning.
- Facilitate learning in classroom, laboratory, and applied settings using innovative and student-centered instructional methods.
- Assess student learning through appropriate evaluation tools and provide timely, meaningful feedback to support academic growth.
- Promote a positive, welcoming, and student-focused learning environment that encourages critical thinking and professional development.
- Support student progression by evaluating academic performance and recommending qualified students for advancement and graduation.
- Maintain accurate, timely records of attendance, grades, student performance, and other required reporting and accountability measures.
- Coordinate and support cooperative education, internship, or work-based learning experiences as assigned.
- Collaborate with faculty, academic advisors, department leadership, and staff to enhance program quality, student outcomes, and departmental effectiveness.
- Participate in departmental, college, and university committees, meetings, and professional activities as assigned.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive learning environment that supports effective instruction and student success.
Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution, and demonstrated teaching experience at the college level and/or relevant professional experience in finance, economics, banking, investments, financial planning, or a related field.

- Extensive knowledge of finance and economics principles, theories, and current industry practices relevant to courses being taught.
- Knowledge of student engagement, motivation, assessment, and evaluation methods that support academic achievement and student success.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, instructional design, and learning assessment practices within higher education.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with various student, faculty, and staff populations.
- Thorough knowledge of the subject matter, course content, and emerging trends in finance, economics, and related business disciplines.
- Knowledge of academic advising, mentoring, and student support practices that promote retention, progression, and graduation.
- Knowledge of experiential learning, internships, cooperative education, or industry-based learning opportunities, as applicable.
- Extensive knowledge of instructional strategies, classroom management techniques, and best practices in higher education teaching and learning.

- Strong presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare instructional materials, reports, and academic documentation.

- Ability to apply theoretical finance and economic concepts to real-world business, policy, and market situations.
