ResponsibilitiesThe Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing preventative, emergency, and rehabilitative care to student-athletes. The Athletic Trainer works collaboratively with coaches, administrators, parents, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to promote the health, safety, and well-being of student-athletes participating in school athletic programs.
Background checks and eligibilitySchool Volunteers may have significant unsupervised access to students. This requires School Volunteers to clear a background check prior to serving as a volunteer. Granite School District will cover the cost of this background check for volunteers.
Note:
In the work experience section of the application, please list your current and previous employers (minimum of
2). This is necessary for the reference check required by Utah statute for school volunteers. Please list any related volunteer experience on your resume only, if appropriate.
