Position Announcement
Under the direction of the course Instructor, assists in course record-keeping, monitoring student progress and participation, and grading tests/assignments using the instructor-supplied rubric.
Summary of ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions, Major Duties, and/or Accountability:
- Course record-keeping as needed
- Continuous review of course content to maintain knowledge
- Logistical student interactions through email/phone (minimal, with number of contacts logged)
- Monitoring student progress, and tracking missing assignments
- Monitoring course participation (e.g., on the discussion board), Recording/uploading scores in the Learning Management System
- Grading tests and assignments per the instructor-supplied rubric
Must be a current UVU Student
Completion of ARTH 2710 and/or ARTH 2720 with a B+ or better grade (in major)
Knowledge / Skills / AbilitiesMust be proficient in the use of email, attaching files, retrieving email, etc.
Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Internet applications
