Engaged Learning and Workforce Developmentis a university-wide hub that connects students, faculty, and external partners through hands-on, high-impact learning experiences. Home to more than a dozen programs, Engaged Learning and Workforce Development supports student success by offeringresearch opportunities, graduation distinctions, industry connections, and more. In collaboration with campus departments and community partners, the hub expands access to engaged learning andfosters participation from across the university and beyond.

The Associate Provost oversees the management and coordination ofkey engaged learning programs, ensuring they are thoughtfullyintegrated, effective, and aligned with university-wide goals. The position plays a central role in strengthening UVU's commitment tostudent-centered, practice-based education that leads to effective workforce development. The university seeks a visionary academic leader who brings a deep understanding of national best practices in project-based,experiential, and engaged learning. The Associate Provost willguide programming that fosters collaboration, continuous improvement, and academic excellence.
