Wind Hub Technician

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Hub Technician to maintain optimal functionality and output at wind sites. The role involves daily turbine operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty repairs.

• Execute contractual obligations per customer requirements and daily activities including electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance, repair, and replacement.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch & variable speed turbines.
• Conduct diagnostic electrical analysis and document all work using computer‑based service reporting.
• Respond to GE’s remote operations center when necessary.
• Carry out other site operations as directed by management with minimal supervision.

• High School Diploma or GED, minimum of 1 year experience as a Wind Technician or Wind Mechanic, or 2 years experience in hydraulic, electrical, and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45lbs unassisted and climb towers of 300+ft.
• Ability to understand electrical schematic drawings, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.
• Willingness to work rotating shift schedules and on‑call per site needs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with personnel at all levels.

GE offers a competitive salary range of $31.68 to $42.20 per hour and benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
