Aviation Planner

J-U-B Engineers, Inc. () is seeking an Aviation Planner to support planning and delivery of airport and aviation infrastructure projects across the Inland Northwest and Intermountain West. In this role, you will assist with airport master plans, airport layout plans, demand forecasting, and airfield/landsiderelated planning studies, preparing technical reports, exhibits, and GIS-based analyses. Working in a collaborative, employee-owned environment, you'll coordinate with internal design teams, airport sponsors, and agencies, while gaining mentorship, professional growth, and long-term career opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of airport master plans, airport layout plans, and aviation system plans.
• Conduct aviation demand forecasting, capacity, and operational analyses using GIS and other tools.
• Develop technical reports, planning documents, and visual exhibits for clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams to integrate planning with design and construction phases.
• Assist with data collection, site visits, and stakeholder meetings at airports and related facilities.
• Help ensure compliance with FAA regulations, advisory circulars, and funding requirements.
• Support public outreach, presentations, and client meetings for aviation planning projects.
• Contribute to project scheduling, budgets, and quality control processes within a collaborative team.
• Pursue professional development, licensure, and certifications relevant to aviation planning.
