SFC Energy is a global technology leader specializing in Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (DMFC) and Hydrogen Fuel Cell solutions for stationary and mobile power applications. Headquartered in Germany, the company operates across Europe, Canada, and India and is expanding its presence in the United States with sales, service, and production in Utah.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the finance and accounting operations of SFC Energy LLC in Orem, Utah. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will gain hands‑on experience in day‑to‑day accounting activities, reporting, and cross‑department collaboration. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Experience with SAP highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi‑task effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong English communication skills with focus on stakeholder requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of assigned tasks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, internal control, forecasting, analysis, and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP (IFRS knowledge is preferred).

• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages while positioning SFC Energy LLC for the achievement of deadlines and strategic goals within the finance team.
• You will coordinate and support the day‑to‑day finance of SFC Energy LLC by collaborating with external accounting, corporate controllership, operational finance.
• Interact with business operations across manufacturing and Service department.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies independently.
• Lead financial compliance and governance activities for SFC Energy LLC, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and actively supporting ESG reporting, controls, and continuous improvement.
• Assist with implementing new finance processes and provide post‑go‑live support.
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable shifting priorities and lending finance expertise within diverse work assignments.
