Responsibilities
RECREATIONAL THERAPIST (FULL-TIME)
Benefits- This is a full-time position Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm
- In this position you will teach both adults and adolescents how to use leisure as a method to communicate and cope with stressors
- Opportunity to work with an experienced team of professionals

- Providing daily Recreational Therapy group therapy
- Completing Recreational Therapy assessments
- Working with patients who have experienced past or current trauma, symptoms of anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation
- Responsible for assessing patients' leisure and recreational activities
- Provide age and developmentally appropriate Recreational Therapy groups
- Establish Recreational Therapy treatment goals
- Current CTRS certification, registration or licensure in accordance with state and/or national board standards of specific field or allied health
- Previous experience working with mental health patients preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check and drug screen
