Independence Rehab is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist who finds purpose in helping older adults regain mobility, confidence, and dignity.
As a PRN therapist partnering with Independence Rehab at Orchard Park, you’ll support residents navigating recovery, chronic conditions, and life transitions—providing therapy that truly changes daily life.

What a Day Looks LikeAs a PRN PT in our geriatric programs, your day is relationship‑driven, collaborative, and clinically meaningful.
- Performing evaluations and contributing to individualized plans of care as needed
- Guiding residents through mobility milestones—first steps, safe transfers, returning home
- Leading gait, balance, strengthening, and functional training sessions
- Helping reduce fall risk and build confidence with daily activities
- Supervising and collaborating with PTAs when scheduled
- Adjusting care plans based on patient progress and clinical judgment
- Working alongside nursing, OT, and speech to support whole‑person recovery
- Providing reliable coverage for vacations, caseload fluctuations, and program growth
