Associate Director, Field Medical Affairs-Hematology ( TN, AL, MS, AR

Overview

As an Associate Director, Field Medical Affairs (Medical Science Liaison) at Regeneron, you will exchange scientific data and medical information with KOLs, HCPs, researchers, pharmacists and population-based decision makers across Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas. Residency in the territory (preferable TN or AL) is required and you will travel approximately 70% of the time.

• Identify and maintain a list of medical/therapeutic area experts, investigator targets and associated plans of action.
• Establish, foster, cultivate and maintain relationships with KOLs in Hematological Malignancies.
• Serve as the primary clinical/scientific resource for disease state and product information, ensuring awareness and understanding.
• Participate in the development and management of company-sponsored clinical trials.
• Build scientific relationships with investigators and internal Medical Affairs to support investigator-initiated study (IIS) concept programs.
• Identify relevant insights on research developments and the treatment landscape to shape medical strategy.
• Identify gaps in research needs and create opportunities by collaborating with investigators and site personnel.
• Respond to requests for information on study indications, disease state, therapeutic area, and present/discuss scientific/clinical data.
• Attend medical conferences, collecting and reporting relevant scientific, clinical and competitive intelligence.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, principles and financial controls are maintained with integrity; display professionalism internally and externally.

• Terminal scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP or DVM) is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 4 years in a Hematology/Oncology Medical Science Liaison function.
• Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, pharma compliant practices and OIG guidelines.

• Residency in the assigned territory.
• Capable of frequent business travel (~70% of time), including air travel, overnight stays and occasional weekend travel.
• Possesses and maintains a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Established relationships with KOLs and institutions focused on Hematologic Malignancies.
• Experience with drug launch programs.
