Location
Salt Lake City, UT area. This field service position will travel to multiple client hospital sites in the Salt Lake area. A company car is provided for travel to sites.
CompensationApplicants can expect a compensation range of $27–33 per hour.

Responsibilities- Perform technical service including scheduled maintenance, inspections, and operation verification on complex biomedical equipment.
- Repair, install, and calibrate complex biomedical equipment.
- Inform supervisors of the status of repairs, inspections, unusual equipment situations, and customer concerns.
- Work with, direct, and document activities of subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians.
- Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
- Assist with service operations and special projects as assigned.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of the equipment database, including inventory and performance schedules.
- Adhere to the Medical Equipment Management Plan, regulatory compliance, and policies.
- Build and maintain customer relationships, discuss equipment status with clinicians.
- Represent Tri Medx services positively and integrate core values.
- Perform periodic inspections of inventory and verification of security analysis for new equipment.
- Perform incoming inspections to maintain accurate inventory.
- Recommend regarding inventory.
- Ensure consistent travel (up to 75% regional) and complete all duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Complex computer skills, including system administration, error code interpretation, hard‑drive maintenance, power supply replacement, and networking concepts.
- Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills.
- Associate’s degree in a technical or electronics field, or equivalent military experience, or two years of equivalent experience.
- Technical certification (CBET) preferred.
