• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility

Emergency Room registered nurses provide care for patients with a range of illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention and must be able to recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.

• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Maintain knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to urgent treatment and care.
• Properly triage patients to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
