As a Therapist Supervisor, you will provide clinical oversight, support therapeutic services, and help guide a multidisciplinary team. Working alongside therapists, case managers, nurses, and medical providers, you will play a vital role in helping clients build a foundation for lasting recovery and improved well-being. Therapist Supervisors in this position earn $40.76–$51.64/hour, depending on experience and licensure.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM varies
Compensation: $40.76–$51.64 DOE and Licensure

What You’ll Do as a Therapist Supervisor- Provide leadership and oversight for clinical services, supporting program development and daily operations.
- Supervise clinical staff through scheduling, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Deliver and oversee high-quality behavioral health services, including individual, family, and group therapy.
- Conduct intake assessments and assist in determining appropriate levels of care and treatment recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients, parents, guardians, and support systems to develop individualized treatment plans and recovery goals.
- Provide clinical guidance and consultation to staff to ensure effective, evidence-based treatment practices.
- Support client transitions through discharge planning, aftercare coordination, and referrals to additional services when needed.
- Monitor treatment progress and ensure services are tailored to meet each client's unique needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and ensure compliance with agency, licensing, and Medicaid requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, case managers, nurses, and medical providers, to coordinate comprehensive client care.
- Promote a positive, recovery-oriented treatment environment that supports client engagement, growth, and long-term success.
- Assist with program quality improvement initiatives and ensure services align with agency policies and best practices.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Must be fully licensed in the state of Utah as an LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT.
- Experience providing clinical supervision (preference given to those able to supervise toward licensure).
- Strong skills in program development, crisis management, and therapeutic best practices.
- Ability to supervise, train, evaluate, and support therapists, interns, and program staff.
- Knowledge of documentation standards, treatment planning, and audit requirements.
- Ability to conduct intake assessments, gather psychosocial histories, and coordinate care.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase.
Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
