Job Description
This per diem opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with retail experience looking to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in Cleveland, UT, and involves supporting a well-staffed retail pharmacy team, ensuring efficient and accurate prescription processing.

Cleveland, UT
Schedule/
Hours:
- Weekdays: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Upcoming shifts:
August 21 and August 22
Environment:
Retail pharmacy with moderate prescription volume (75 to 100 prescriptions daily)
Staffing: 1.5 pharmacists and 3 pharmacy technicians
Order Entry System:
Pioneer RX (technicians handle order entry, pharmacist oversight required)
Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify and dispense medications in compliance with state regulations
- Provide professional consultation and counseling to patients regarding their prescriptions
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and other staff to maintain workflow
- Ensure all pharmaceutical practices prioritize patient safety and quality of care
Qualifications/Desired
Experience:
- Valid Utah pharmacy license is mandatory
- Previous retail pharmacy experience required
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX is advantageous but not necessary
