Travel Medical Laboratory Scientist

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform high-quality diagnostic testing in hospital and clinic laboratories nationwide. In this contract role, you'll conduct chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank testing, ensure accurate results, maintain analyzers, and uphold strict QC, QA, and safety standards. You'll adapt quickly to new lab environments, collaborate with care teams, and support excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform and validate a full range of diagnostic laboratory tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment according to manufacturer and regulatory standards.
• Ensure accurate, timely reporting of results through the LIS, communicating critical values to clinical teams.
• Adhere to quality control, quality assurance, and safety procedures in compliance with CLIA, CAP, and facility policies.
• Travel to diverse healthcare facilities nationwide, quickly adapting to new lab environments and workflows.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, supporting patient-focused, high-quality care and continuous process improvement.
