Location Overview

Join our team in Amangiri. Blending into untouched red-rock country on over 900 acres of the Colorado Plateau, Amangiri and its satellite, Camp Sarika, reflect dual aspects of this ancient desert landscape. A serene sanctuary, Amangiri’s 34 modernist suites, Aman Spa and mesa-embracing pool echo the tranquillity of the canyons. The Role

As Overnight Agent, you are entrusted with full responsibility for the resort during overnight operations. Acting as both a leader and a guest service professional, you will ensure all front office functions, guest needs, and night audit responsibilities are completed with precision, discretion, and care. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a quiet, independent environment while maintaining the highest standards of service and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services & Operations
    • Welcome late-night arrivals and assist early departures with professionalism and warmth
    • Ensure accurate billing, folio review, and payment processing
    • Respond to guest requests promptly, anticipating needs whenever possible
    • Maintain front desk organization, including keys, logs, and guest information
    • Answer all phone calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Night Audit & Reporting
    • Complete all night audit procedures, including closing and balancing daily accounts
    • Review arrival and departure reports to ensure accuracy and readiness
    • Conduct audits of financial transactions and report discrepancies appropriately
    • Maintain detailed logs and ensure thorough communication with the morning team
  • Leadership & Oversight
    • Act as Manager on Duty overnight, overseeing all departments and operations
    • Supervise overnight staff, ensuring tasks are completed to Aman standards
    • Monitor team performance, morale, and attendance
    • Assign and coordinate guest requests across departments
  • Guest Experience & Service Recovery
    • Handle guest concerns with professionalism, efficiency, and discretion
    • Ensure all guest interactions reflect Aman’s commitment to excellence
    • Maintain a polished and professional presence at all times
  • Safety & Emergency Response
    • Manage and respond to any overnight emergencies
    • Communicate and elevate issues to leadership as required
    • Ensure overall safety and security of guests, staff, and property
Requirements
  • Previous experience in Front Office, Night Audit, or similar hospitality role preferred
  • Working knowledge of Opera or similar property management systems preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take full accountability during overnight hours
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving skills and calm decision-making under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Team-oriented mindset with leadership capability
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Maintain a clean driving record
