Overview
The ERP Specialist supports and maintains the company’s ERP system, helping users, resolving issues, managing access, and assisting with ERP-related projects and improvements. This role is a good fit for a recent graduate or early-to-mid-level professional who wants to grow their ERP and manufacturing systems experience in a practical, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities- ERP Support & User Assistance:
Provide daily ERP support to users across manufacturing, operations, and office teams; troubleshoot common ERP issues and work with internal teams or vendors when needed; answer user questions and help ensure correct system usage; document solutions and basic procedures. - User & Access Management:
Create and maintain ERP users, roles, and permissions; support onboarding/offboarding and access changes; help maintain proper system security and access controls. - Reporting, Forms & Dashboards:
Create and maintain Generic Inquiries (GIs), reports, dashboards, and forms within the ERP; assist users with data visibility and reporting needs; perform basic data checks and validations. - ERP Projects & Improvements:
Assist with ERP projects such as new modules, system enhancements, and process improvements; participate in testing, user training, and go-live support; help document business processes and system changes.
- Bachelor’s degree (completed) in Information Systems, Business, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of ERP systems and business workflows.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical users.
- ERP support or administration experience (strong advantage).
- Understanding of manufacturing business processes (BOMs, inventory, production, work orders) (strong advantage).
- Experience creating GIs, reports, dashboards, and forms in an ERP system (strong advantage).
- Basic understanding of SQL concepts and database logic (tables, key fields, relationships) (strong advantage).
- Acumatica ERP experience, especially Manufacturing Edition (extreme advantage).
- Project coordination or basic project management experience (moderate advantage).
- Business process mapping or workflow improvement experience (moderate advantage).
- Continuous improvement background (Lean, Six Sigma, process optimization) (moderate advantage).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) (moderate advantage).
- Users get timely, friendly ERP support.
- Common issues are resolved and documented.
- Reports and dashboards meet business needs.
- ERP projects run smoothly with minimal disruption.
- System usage and data accuracy improve over time.
