Applied AI Architect

Position Summary

Applied AI Architect to provide deep technical estimates and enterprise presentations to creative leadership to drive the sales pipeline. Requires extensive experience as an AI software engineer and a background in creative or product architecture to craft and scope custom solutions and integrations meeting the needs of Adobe Firefly and AI Innovation Enterprise customers.

• Function in a fast‑paced setting, advancing multiple customer opportunities simultaneously.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with a Solution Consultant to gather customer requirements, workflows, and goals for generative AI.
• Partner with Adobe Sales to engage customer executives, identify problems and opportunities, and translate insights into Adobe solutions.
• Design, architect, and estimate deep‑technical and custom development AI solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with a team of software engineer consultants onshore and offshore.
• Develop robust recommendations for creatives, proposals, and scope of work documents for product innovation engagements while identifying critical dependencies and gaps.
• Present end‑to‑end solutions clearly, outlining technical architectures, scope, and standard methodologies for customers, including executives and collaborating parties.
• Continuously improve the Solution Architects team’s knowledge, methodologies, and customer‑facing collateral.

• Proven experience in a world‑class consulting or technology organization, under pre‑sales for creative, product, or AI innovation roles.
• Strong desire to solve customer technical requirements and rapidly convert pipeline opportunities into closed deals.
• Balance of business and technical competence, including the ability to articulate high‑level technical solutions to business problems and connect solutions to program success criteria.
• Experience architecting and estimating deep‑technical AI custom solutions that involve large data volumes and cloud environments.
• Experience in professional services projects specifically involving integration with web services and REST APIs.
• Experience implementing or selling electronic signature, document management, and/or business process management software.
• Industry expertise as a software engineer, data engineer, cloud architect, or proven track record.
• Outstanding problem‑solving and analytical skills, such as building clear observations, analysis, and conclusions based on customer interviews and data.
• Excellent customer‑facing skills with experience addressing and achieving agreement from senior creative executives (Managers, Directors, VPs, CMOs, and CXOs).
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize across multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
• Collaborative colleague who can work with multiple partners to arrive at the best solution.
• High degree of intellectual curiosity, ability to learn and apply new concepts and technologies.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.
• MBA, degree, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with APIs, SDKs, or custom integrations in enterprise software environments.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud APIs and Adobe Firefly APIs.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud solutions, Adobe Experience Cloud, or digital asset management solutions.
• Knowledge of security, privacy, and governance considerations in AI deployments.
• Background in digital content production, creative automation, or personalization strategies.
• Industry expertise in fields adopting generative AI at scale, such as marketing, media, publishing, or retail.

U.S. pay range for this position: $178,200 – $289,000 annually. In California, the range is $199,600 – $289,000; in Illinois, $187,400 – $271,400. Compensation may vary by location and by job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
