Data Migration Engineer (SQL/AWS/NoSQL)
Location:
100% Remote
Duration: 2 Months Contract

- Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Migration Engineer to support a SQL migration project on the Connected Delivery Platform Team.
- This platform powers the discovery, download, and installation of all company products, services, and third-party applications.
- In this role, your primary responsibility is to migrate data from a legacy system to the Next-Gen platform, leveraging AWS tools—especially AWS DMS—to move data across SQL and No
SQL databases. This is a focused, time-boxed migration project with no extension.
- Migrate data from Mongo
DB to PostgreSQL - Migrate data from MySQL to PostgreSQL
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries
- Build test scripts to validate data migration using languages such as Node.js or Python
- Support scripting and automation efforts for AWS DMS-based data migration
- Collaborate with the platform engineering team to ensure accurate and secure data transfer
- 7+ years of experience developing scalable, distributed applications
- Proven experience with SQL, AWS, and No
SQL technologies - Strong proficiency in writing advanced SQL queries
- Experience with programming languages such as Node.js
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (AWS DMS strongly preferred)
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs using Microservices architecture
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (required)
