Job Title: Director of Web3 Infrastructure & Engineering

Location: Remote / Based in the US

Reports To: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Our client is pioneering decentralized real estate ownership through a live platform that enables users to tokenize, invest in, and transact real estate assets seamlessly on-chain. Backed by leading industry experts and investors, they are building the future of home ownership using cutting-edge Web3 technology.

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT Director with a minimum of 5 years of Web3 experience and a strong background in technical content leadership. In this role, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our client's technical infrastructure, while ensuring security, scalability, and operational integrity. This leader will be instrumental in driving both infrastructure strategy and the technical communication framework of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure architecture and implementation across decentralized systems (blockchain, cloud, IPFS, RPC nodes).
• Manage a distributed team of Dev Ops, IT engineers, and security professionals.
• Oversee technical editorial strategy, including internal documentation, public API references, and protocol guides.
• Ensure robust cybersecurity frameworks for Web3 user authentication, wallet integration, and node operation.
• Work closely with the CTO to define and execute roadmap for scaling multi-chain systems.
• Coordinate vendor evaluation, integration, and compliance with industry standards.
• Partner with product and marketing teams to support technical storytelling and product alignment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Web3, DeFi, or blockchain infrastructure.
• Minimum 7 years in IT operations, systems architecture, or engineering leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to produce or oversee high-quality technical documentation.
• Experience managing Dev Ops, node deployments, Web3 APIs, and EVM-based networks.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation; understanding of Web3 security principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a protocol foundation, DAO, or decentralized startup.
• Prior involvement in developer advocacy, documentation portals, or open-source contributions.
• Familiarity with tokenization frameworks, zk-proofs, decentralized identity, or real estate token platforms.
• Performance Bonus: Up to 20% annually
• Work Environment: Remote-first with flexible working hours
