THEC Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Webmaster

The Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) was created for the purpose of coordinating and supporting the efforts of postsecondary institutions in the State of Tennessee. Job Summary

The THEC Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Webmaster will assist the Communications and Information Technology teams in a structural redesign of the agency’s website using templates and components customized and made available to us by TN Department of Finance and Administration’s Strategic Technology Solutions division, who provides AEM as an enterprise tool to the agency. In this restructure, the AEM webmaster will identify areas of improvement in user friendliness, design, layout, and SEO, and provide the changes to improve the agency’s digital footprint.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • At the direction of the Communications Team, move current webpages to the new desired web structure.
  • Provide ideas of improvement of structure and page layout to the team.
  • Perform daily updates to the THEC webpage during the transition.
  • Identify and edit graphics to be placed on the website.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in editing, creating, moving, and renaming pages in Adobe AEM is required.
  • Knowledge of website design best practices.
  • Knowledge of SEO optimization.
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop preferred.
Schedule

Schedule can be either part-time or full-time. Schedule will be worked out during interview process. Work may not last entire duration if the project completes before six months.
