. Cere Core is seeking a MEDITECH Expanse Lab Analyst with strong SCRUM Master experience to join our team remotely. You will work closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to optimize the Expanse Lab application and facilitate agile delivery across the enterprise, improving workflows and patient care delivery through continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Function as a SCRUM Master for the Expanse Implementation project in the Lab space, ensuring agile principles and practices are followed.
  • Facilitate scrum events including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Identify and escalate barriers to the team’s progress, removing impediments when possible.
  • Coach the team on agile principles and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support the Director and Managers in managing and prioritizing the backlog.
  • Establish and maintain burndown charts, dashboards, and other visual indicators of project progress.
  • Track metrics such as velocity and cycle time to guide improvements and monitor sprint performance.
  • Provide expertise in the installation, configuration, and optimization of clinical electronic healthcare systems, with a focus on MEDITECH Expanse Lab.
  • Apply hands-on experience with Expanse implementations, Rules, Outreach, Large Scale Implementations, Gen Lab, and MIC functionality.
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Health Information Systems, clinical workflows, and best practices in laboratory operations.
  • Analyze and assimilate feedback from clients to proactively drive process improvements as approved by leadership.
  • Advise clients on optimal system functions and workflows using professional knowledge and experience.
  • Facilitate peer-to-peer training and openly share expertise with internal teams.
  • Develop documentation, training materials, and other project-related content for both internal and external use.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills; maintain a strong customer service orientation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to clarify expectations, timelines, risk/issue mitigation plans, and project commitments.
  • Independently monitor and ensure the accuracy and quality of personal work deliverables.
  • Share knowledge with clients and team members while leading change management initiatives.
  • Assist peers in task prioritization and project planning; help document and define tasks when needed.
  • Understand project scope, deliverables, and required effort; participate in strategic planning or SOW development.
  • Incorporate lessons learned into practice and contribute to continuous process improvement within the department.
Requirements
  • 3–5+ years of build experience with MEDITECH Lab, preferably Expanse.
  • Proven SCRUM Master experience, including facilitating agile ceremonies, backlog management, and sprint performance tracking.
  • Direct experience with Expanse implementations, Rules, Outreach, Large Scale Implementations, Gen Lab, and MIC.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and lab operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite:
    Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and customer service orientation.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and willing to learn new technologies, methods, and processes.
  • Agile/SCRUM certification preferred but not required.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as required.
