# EOL $125,000 - $145,000 annually # EOL About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Advocate Lead to support complex claims management within the mergers and acquisitions space. This role focuses on delivering strategic guidance and advocacy for clients navigating property and casualty claims. You will work closely with legal counsel, carriers, and internal teams to ensure optimal outcomes and provide expert coverage interpretation.
Responsibilities- Manage medium to large, complex claims and oversee claim status updates.
- Collaborate with client legal counsel on coverage, claims strategy, and settlement negotiations.
- Analyze claims data, prepare reports for underwriting and client review, and develop coverage positions.
- Attend client and carrier meetings to review claim status and resolve issues.
- Deliver training on coverage reviews, claims handling guidelines, and loss reporting procedures.
- Maintain accurate data in agency management systems and ensure compliance with data integrity standards.
- Build strong relationships with carriers, adjusters, and clients to drive successful outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years experience in commercial insurance brokerage or insurance carrier environment.
- Valid Fire and Casualty Broker‑Agent license.
- In‑depth knowledge of property and casualty insurance coverage and risk management concepts.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Advanced analytical and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional designations such as CPCU, AIC, or ARM.
- Experience developing and delivering client‑focused training programs.
