Janitorial Team Lead​/Supervisor

We are looking for a dependable and hands-on Janitorial Team Lead / Supervisor to oversee our cleaning team and help ensure that all assigned areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This position will provide daily direction to team members, monitor cleaning standards, and help ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.

• Supervise and support janitorial staff during daily operations.
• Assign daily tasks and ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
• Inspect assigned areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and quality standards.
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures, equipment, safety practices, and company expectations.
• Monitor attendance, schedules, and overall team performance.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly used, stored, and maintained.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to management.
• Communicate professionally with employees, management, and clients.
• Help maintain a positive, respectful, and productive work environment.

• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience required.
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to train and motivate team members.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties as needed.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and janitorial equipment.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
