Job Overview
Provide leadership and direction at Schreiber Distribution Center (DC) locations, continuously improving cost, quality and service through teamwork and cross‑functional alignment. This position is 100% on‑site at our Logan, UT distribution center and focuses on creating a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Train, coach, evaluate and reinforce Schreiber qualities and principles with hourly partners and salaried supervisors.
- Ensure daily production, shipping, receiving and general DC functions are organized for maximum efficiency and adjust activities with supervisors as needed.
- Audit PCPs, CCPs and procedures to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Develop and track KPIs for the DC to drive corrective action and improvement.
- Work with supervisors and the DC manager to determine each partner’s IDP, removing roadblocks and supporting development.
- Administer implementation of regulatory, safety, environmental and food‑safety programs; ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans.
- Lead and maintain control of distribution initiatives related to cost, quality, service and safety.
- Create an outstanding partner experience and foster an ownership culture within the DC.
- Identify potential capital improvements, including analysis, justification and approval; manage or assist capital projects.
- Assist the DC manager in annual business and capital planning.
- Manage external warehouse suppliers.
- Oversee the forklift program, including safety policies and spend management.
- Maintain standardized distribution processes, SOPs and KPIs.
- Ensure upkeep of the building and grounds.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food/Dairy Science, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
- 3‑5 years of production or operations leadership in a mid‑to‑large manufacturing facility.
- Strong leadership, communication and results‑oriented mindset.
- Creative problem‑solving and strategic planning skills.
- Willingness to relocate within the United States and to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Relocation bonus of $10000 plus relocation package for moves over 50 miles.
