At Northrop Grumman, employees work on revolutionary systems. This role is located in Roy, Utah, within the Flight Systems Futures operating unit of Strategic Deterrent Systems, focusing on hypersonic re‑entry vehicles and advanced payloads.
Responsibilities- Direct all program phases from inception to completion.
- Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance of tooling programs.
- Act as customer contact for program activities and lead review sessions.
- Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans, identify problems, and obtain solutions.
- Direct work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas.
- Collaborate across program and functional teams for on‑time execution.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks (technical, cost, schedule, legal, security); maintain risk register and ensure corrective actions are tracked and closed.
- Strategically manage NCTA budgets (B&P and M&S) with financial rigor and predictability.

Standard work schedule is a 9/80.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience, OR Master’s degree and 6 years of related experience.
- U.S. citizen with active DoD Top Secret security clearance and ability to obtain and maintain SAP.
- At least 6 years of experience leading programs/projects and driving performance against schedule.
- Experience in project management/execution and closeout.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EV).
- Background in rapid development and prototyping.
- Background in ICBM programs.
- Experience with test planning and coordination.
- Already SAP briefed.
- PMP Certificate.
- Northrop Grumman CAM Certification.
- Program Access Request (PAR) experience.
- Functional and/or Assignment Manager experience.
- Supplier Management experience.
- 6 years of experience with EVMS or as a Cost Account Manager.
- Program Management experience.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks, interact effectively across all levels, and build strong customer and supplier relationships.
- Experienced people leadership with performance management, career development, staffing, and merit planning.
