The Project Manager I is responsible for the management of grant‑funded projects. This grant‑funded role requires you to assist the principal investigator, the special projects team, and internal and external stakeholders to meet federal grant requirements and timelines. This is a 24‑month temporary position funded by a grant program.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or other related field (or equivalent experience) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least two years of proven experience in project management, business operations, or program administration
  • CAPM or PMP certification
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing federal funding or strict grant compliance
  • Experience working in Higher Education
  • Ability to interact with and interpret data

The annual salary for this temporary grant‑funded position starts at $44,000 and may go up from there depending on candidate qualifications.

Physical Requirements of this position:
Light work. Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Use of arm and/or leg controls exerting forces greater than that for sedentary work.
