CNC Machinist, Manufacturing Production, Machine Operator
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up, run, and inspect precision machined parts in a professional, well-organized shop. This role is for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, works independently, and values quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
- Load and verify programs; set work and tool offsets
- Select tooling and make offset adjustments to maintain tolerances
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Maintain part quality, documentation, and process consistency
- Keep machines and work areas clean and organized
- Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, quality, and repeatability
- 5+ years CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes)
- Strong setup and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to hold tight tolerances and inspect your own work
- Experience with Haas & Fanuc controls preferred
- Solid understanding of machining fundamentals and best practices
- Professional attitude, dependable, and self-motivated
Helpful but not necessary-
- Programming experience
- Experience running 5-axis and mill-turn
