Shipping & Assembly

Core 4x4 designs and manufactures aftermarket suspension and steering components for Jeeps and trucks – control arms, track bars, steering kits, long arm kits, sway bar end links. Everything that carries our name is built in Orem, Utah by people who actually understand the vehicles. We’re not a distributor. We’re a real manufacturing shop building parts that go on real trucks.

ABOUT

THE ROLE

This is a hands‑on role that combines assembly, packing, receiving, and returns. You’re putting kits together, getting orders boxed up and out the door, processing returns when they come back, and pitching in wherever else the shop needs you. The standard is simple: every box that leaves looks like a Core 4x4 product when the customer opens it, and every return gets handled cleanly so we can move on.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble parts and kits per BOMs and packing lists
  • Pack customer orders accurately and professionally – every box reflects the brand
  • Receive incoming shipments of raw materials and components
  • Process and address returns – inspect, document, restock or route appropriately
  • Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and ready to work
  • Jump in wherever else the shop needs help – this isn't a one‑lane job
Qualifications

Required:

  • Detail‑oriented – accuracy matters more than speed
  • Comfortable on your feet all day and able to lift 50 lbs
  • Mechanical aptitude – you can follow an assembly diagram and check your work
  • Willingness to switch tasks and help wherever the shop needs you
  • Consistent, reliable attendance
Additional Information HOW WE MEASURE YOU
  • Own It:
Every order you pack is your responsibility. If something’s missing or wrong, you don’t ship it. If a return comes in, you handle it through to done.
  • Build It Like It’s Yours: A customer is opening this box in his garage. A sloppy pack job or a half‑assembled kit reflects on the brand. Treat every box like it’s going to your buddy.
  • Figure It Out:
When a kit doesn’t match the BOM or a return is missing parts, you investigate and surface it. You don’t guess and move on.
  • Never Settle:
When a process is creating errors, slowdowns, or messes, flag it. The way we ship now should keep getting better.
  • Be Straight:
If you make a mistake, surface it before the customer does. We’d rather know.
THIS ISN'T THE RIGHT FIT IF
  • You’re fine with “close enough” on assembly or packing
  • You sit on problems instead of surfacing them
  • You don’t care what the box looks like when the customer opens it
  • You only want to do one thing and won’t help where the shop needs you
  • You can’t show up consistently
WHAT YOU GET
  • Competitive hourly pay ($17‑$22/hr DOE)
  • Paid time off
  • Monday‑Friday schedule
  • A shop that takes care of the people who built it
