From our Americas hub in Salt Lake City, we support customers across North, Central, and South America with technical service, installation, maintenance, and training. Your Role:
You will lead the final and most visible phase of our projects—bringing complex production lines online at customer sites. This role blends technical expertise, problem-solving, and customer interaction as you ensure systems are fully operational, optimized, and ready for production.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute commissioning of process equipment and full production lines from pre-shipment testing through site startup
- Support system build, configuration, and validation at the manufacturing site
- Lead on-site startup, including system checks, process tuning, and performance validation
- Partner with controls, mechanical, and site leadership teams to deliver seamless installations
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process issues in real time
- Guide customer teams through acceptance testing and operational readiness
- Train operators and provide hands-on support during ramp-up
- Keep projects on track through clear updates and coordination with internal teams
- Uphold strict safety standards and ensure compliance with food-grade production environments
What You’ll Bring:
- Technical degree in engineering or a related field (mechanical, electrical, process, or other)
- Experience commissioning industrial equipment or process systems, ideally in food or consumer production
- Willingness to travel extensively (~60%), including multi-week international assignments
- Solid understanding and troubleshooting of mechatronic components
- Knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens or Allen-Bradley); SCADA exposure is a plus
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with a hands-on approach
- Effective communicator who can build trust with customers and cross-functional teams
- Organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage shifting priorities on-site
