Helper Position​/candy factory

Pioneer Valley Candy is a small, family-owned candy and food manufacturing company. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to help with a variety of production, packaging, shipping, and cleaning tasks throughout our facility.

Because we are a small company, everyone helps with a little bit of everything. If you enjoy staying busy and learning new skills, this may be a great fit.

Duties Include

Production & Packaging

• Labeling products
• Tubbing and packaging candy
• Stacking finished products
• Assisting with candy production equipment
• Preparing ingredients
• Pouring and racking products

Shipping & Warehouse

• Preparing customer orders for shipment
• Packing boxes
• Organizing inventory
• General warehouse assistance

Kitchen & Sanitation

• Cleaning equipment and work areas
• Washing dishes
• Mopping floors
• Cleaning kettles and production equipment
• Assisting with capping and packaging operations

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions accurately
• Ability to work independently when needed
• Reliable attendance
• Fast-paced worker with good productivity
• Ability to work well with others
• Willingness to learn multiple job functions

This is an entry-level position and no previous experience or education is required.

Language Requirements

Must be able to speak either English or Mandarin Chinese
.

Spanish is helpful but not required.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Occasional Saturdays may be available after the first month

Pay

$14 - $15.00 per hour

• You may occasionally appear in company social media content.
• Must be able to complete an I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification form.
• Food manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is helpful but not required.
