Position: Perfect Plant - Builder I

ABOUT THE JOB

To produce a wide variety of pre cast products daily to established standards and quality specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Setting up steel forms including cutting and tying rebar/steel mesh caging and pouring concrete into molds
  • Read blue prints and CAD drawings
  • Rework and patch product
  • Operating heavy duty industrial equipment including forklifts
  • General housekeeping
  • Be a team player and willing to help out as needed and requested
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is necessary in order to perform the essential functions of this position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
  • Must understand basic math skills, read and apply tape measure, use of various power tools
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Past experience working with hand tools, saws, air tools, grinders is preferred, not required
  • Experience working with concrete would be preferred, not required
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
  • Close Supervision:
    The incumbent is assigned duties according to specified procedures and receives detailed instructions. Work is checked frequently

    Positions self to 90 degrees
  • Walking:
    Moving about to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another

  • Kneeling/Crouching:
    Position self to move items, pick up tools and cleaning up work area
  • Grasping:
    Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm to use hand tools
  • Communicating:
    Expressing or exchanging ideas and information accurately, in written or diagram form.

  • Climbing:
    Ascending or descending ladders, Stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. (This factor is important if the amount and kind of climbing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion.)
